Why One Leaf Soap?

Soap maker Madeline

1. Use Organic Oil

Many people actively try to minimize the amount of toxins enter their body. However, not many people know that toxins can be absorbed through the skin. The commercial soap purchased from stores is made of different kinds of chemicals. Steaming shower with chemical bars could possibly expose you to more toxins. On the other hand, organic soap contains ingredients that are not produced with herbicides, chemical fertilizers or pesticides. One Leaf Soap uses natural oils and at least 80% or more are certified organic oils (Understand that not all oils have certified organic version.) One Leaf Soap is a trustful brand that gives you peace of mind in each use.

2. Vegan/Cruelty Free

One Leaf Soap is free from animal cruelty. We don’t use animal fats, milk or beeswax in our soap. Most ingredients we use are Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Olive Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Shea Butter, Canola Oil, Safflower Oil, Rice Ban Oil, and Castor Oil. Animal fats are not needed to make our soap luxurious.

3. Soy Bean Milk base

Soy bean milk is famous for its essential fatty acids, proteins, fiber, vitamins and minerals which are beneficial to your skin. The protein provided by soy milk also keeps skin tissues moisturized and increase their elasticity. One Leaf Soap uses Soy bean milk as a base to mix with organic oil and lye. Our soap bars are filled with properties that will rejuvenate your skin. Of course, the soy beans we use are organic.

4. Manufactured by Hand

One Leaf Soap product is handcrafted in small batches (it contains 10 soaps in every batch) to ensure excellent quality. We adapt the old fashion method by combining olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, Shea butter, sweet almond oil, and avocado oil with sodium hydroxide, also known as lye, and soy bean milk. All bars have abundantly rich moisturizing bubbles. Therefore, we don’t need to add any artificial foaming agents. All the bars are cured on curing racks for almost a month. Sometimes, it takes longer time before they are shipped to your home. This assures both quality and mildness of the soap.

5. Cold processed

There are different ways to make soap. The Cold Process method takes longer time to work. Nevertheless, it is most beneficial to the skin. The cold process method is the act of mixing selected oil with lye water. The amount of lye water and oil is carefully calculated to ensure that all lye are out after the curing process. The main benefit of cold process is having complete control over the ingredients and keeping the nutrition and embroilment that are in the oils. Soaps are made in room temperature. So, the nutrition and properties in the oil are kept. Cold process soap requires 4-6 weeks to cure on racks before use.

6. Gorgeous Piece of art

The most appealing factor about One Leaf Soaps is that they are simply pieces of art. Our soap often have intricate designs with exquisite swirls and colors. Every bar is one of a kind and the technique we use is hard to replicate. One Leaf soaps pamper your skin and make great gifts for your loved ones.
