What Is Infused Oil And What Are The Benefits?
Infused oil consists of a carrier oil (vegetable oil derived from the fatty portion of a plant) that has been permeated with herbs. It is a lovely way to utilize the healing properties of herbs which contain volatile oils and fats. Herbs containing volatile oils are generally those commonly used in aromatherapy such as lavender, chamomile, rose, alkanet root, and calendula. Infused oil is also a natural way to add color from the herbs to your soap. One Leaf Soap refuses to add artificial coloring to the final product. Therefore, all the colors you see in One Leaf Soap are from natural herb infused oil.
